Copy the files within the heroes folder in the mod to the heroes folder in Darkest Dungeon. Mods at the top of the list take priority. Drag and drop the mods to set their order of priority. Next go to C: Program Files (x86) Steam steamapps common DarkestDungeon, and copy the files within the mod into the appropriate folder, e.g. Start a new campaign or select an existing save slot Click on the Mods icon to the right of the save slot This will bring up an interface allowing you to toggle which subscribed mods will be active. It WILL work eventually - but I don't know why it doesn't. to enable subscribed mods - when you load up DD - next to your save names there is a blue hammer icon, click that and it will open up a list of mods that you have subscribed to, then checkmark the mods that you want to turn on. I think the workshop is being a little picky. My own mod doesn't work through the workshop but works fine through nexus mods (manually installing via zip file).
